On the first Monday of each month in the 2018-19 school year, Mansfield ISD is encouraging the community to wear a color that represents a cancer that affected the life of a loved one. (View a cancer color chart here.)
The purpose of the Colors for Caring initiative is to visibly show support for a loved one who is battling or has battled cancer.
Every Monday in April will be a Colors for Caring Day, in honor of the upcoming Colors for Caring Race on Saturday, April 27. To learn more about the event, visit Colors for Caring Race Registration
The remaining Colors for Caring Days for 2018-19 are:
- Monday, April 8
- Monday, April 15
- Monday, April 22
- Monday, April 29
- Monday, May 6
Be sure to share your Colors for Caring pictures by emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org or using the hashtag #ColorsforCaring on social media.
All of your #ColorsforCaring photos will be added to the district’s photo gallery.
We look forward to everyone’s participation!
